Storytellers

A really fun logo project for a small chocolate maker.

The client wanted to combine her chocolate brand with her love of storytelling, and suggested using constellations as a visual. I thought that each individual product could have its own constellation to go with its individual story, and the logo mark could tie the constellations together somehow. While researching this idea, I learned about the Armillary Sphere, an old metal device that maps the motion of stars and celestial objects as seen from the earth. I created a vector rendering of one of these combined with some vintage gothic type and a field of twinkling stars, and this was the result.
